Once you have completed the form, you will receive a Working With Children Check Application Number. Please advise Auzzie Families of this number so we can verify that you have a valid application in progress. Once your application has been processed, you will be notified of the outcome by email from WWCC. This process can take up to 2 weeks.

The Host Family must hold valid and current insurance, which includes coverage for the student. Certificates of Currency must be provided to Auzzie Families annually. Acceptable insurance coverage could include any of the following:

  2. Tenants obtain a Contents insurance policy with $20 million liability
  3. Recommended – The policy Homestay Host Insurance-plus (Provider Group Code: AUS03)

6
STUDENT PLACEMENT

Once the home visit has been completed and all clearances and insurance certificates have been received, we can look at placing students with you. This can take some time, as we need to make sure we find the best match between students and homestay families.

We cannot control student arrivals and their study locations. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we can place a student in your home.

PLEASE NOTE:

Signing the student application form indicates that you have read and understood the terms and conditions and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of Auzzie Families as outlined on the Fees and Conditions page.
