CANCELLATION POLICY
- For all Cancellation, Placement and Administration Fee is non-refundable and Service Fee applies.
- Cancellation due to visa refusal (Evidence of Visa Refusal is required):
- if more than 7 days prior to course commencement date or arrival date (if provided) whichever is earlier, will incur charges of Placement and Administration Fee, Carer Setup Fee (if applicable) and Service fee.
- if less than 7 days prior to course commencement date or arrival date (if provided) whichever is earlier, will incur charges of Placement & Administration Fee, Two weeks of Homestay Fee, Carer Setup Fee (if applicable) and Service Fee.
- Cancellation due to other reasons under the following circumstances: –
- if more than 14 days prior to course commencement date or arrival date (if provided) whichever is earlier, will incur charges of Placement & Administration Fee, Carer Setup Fee (if applicable) and Service Fee.
- if within 14 days prior to course commencement date or arrival date (if provided) whichever is earlier, will incur charges of Placement & Administration Fee, Two weeks of Homestay Fee, Carer Setup Fee (if applicable) and Service Fee.
- if within 48 hours prior to course commencement date or arrival date whichever is earlier, will incur charges of Placement & Administration Fee, 50% of the paid invoice Homestay Fee, Carer setup fee (if applicable) and Service Fee.
- if after the student’s arrival date, the refundable amount is at the discretion of Auzzie Families.
- Airport Transfer fee is non-refundable under the following circumstances:
- A student cannot locate the driver. The student must call the driver directly in the first instance. The driver’s number are on the APU Confirmation Notice. Further, if the driver does not response, call AF’s emergency number for further assistance.
- A student/agent fails to advise flight details to Auzzie Families at least 24 hours within business hours (Sydney time) prior to arrival and/or who makes her/his own way to the host family and their friend and relatives’ home.
- APU cancellation request is submitted by the student/agent and received by Auzzie Families less than 24 hours within business hours (Sydney time) prior to the student’s arrival date.
REFUND PROCEEDURES
- Request Submission
- Refund requests must be made in writing by the student (or their agent) if the student is 18 years or older.
- If the student is under 18 years old, the refund request must be submitted by their parent, legal guardian, or agent, accompanied by a signed parental consent letter.
- Processing Timeframe
- Refunds will be processed within four (4) weeksfrom the date of receiving a complete refund request, provided that all required information and documentation are submitted.
- Refund Expiry Period
- Prepaid fees are refundable upon request within twelve (12) months from the original payment date.
- After this period, unclaimed funds will be considered forfeited and non-refundable.
- Service Fee
- All refund requests are subject to a non-refundable Service Fee of AUD $150 plus overseas’ bank fee charge, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
